Pininfarina has released a short video about the conception and development of its Sergio concept. The video traces the concept's processes from original sketches up to the final model and highlights how it was inspired by Sergio Pininfarina's belief that to preserve its heritage it must make it part of its future. Mitsubishi will show this new Global Small Concept car at the 2011 Geneva motor show this spring. It's one of 12 vehicles on show at the Mitsubishi stand and previews the Japanese car maker's vision for future small cars. The Global Small Concept in fact forms the basis for a new supermini coming in March 2012.
THE AVERAGE labour rate at both franchised and non-franchised garages has fallen compared to 2012, according to new figures. An annual survey of 12,000 cases conducted on behalf of Warranty Direct has concluded that the average labour rate in 2013 is £74.70, a fall of 9.84% from £82.86 in 2012. Less encouraging is the overall trend of rising labour rates, with the average having increased by 33% over the last ten years.
